Rockwood Reunion 2015

"You don't choose your family.  They are God's gift to you, as you are to them." Desmond Tutu

Doug and Ann hosted us at the Dry Farm for our Family Reunion this year and I love going there.  We spent the summers there growing up and I love the beauty of the rolling hills, the fresh air, the wild flowers, the choke cherry trees, the aspens, the grain that waves like the ocean and the peace and beauty that surrounds the dry farm.
Thank you, Danielle for these beautiful photos you took of the dry farm - you captured the beauty so perfectly!
The graineries waiting to be filled!

The old dry farm house - Kent has fixed it up and enjoys quiet week-ends here with his family.
Ashton Thompson, Charlie Morrey, Sydnie, Ally and Grace Lindstrom on the Zip Line.
Doug has installed a zip line and the kids spent hours every day playing on it.  At first, Arianne, Jacob and Grace were kind enough to pull the others - and did so for hours, then someone got smart and got out the four-wheeler . . . ah, that was a little easier!

Scott Robinson, Ally, Kourtni, Mason Lindstrom, Jace Grover, Sydni, Eden, Grace and Damien Lindstrom ~ hours of fun on the Zip Line!

Papa Ray brought up the rocket launcher and rockets - another favorite activity that kept them busy for a few hours!
Victoria Grover, Kent, Venna, Larry, Reed, Christina and Mya Rockwood.

Sky and Nadia Thompson.
When she first arrived, Nadia was afraid of the dogs, but she kept at it until they were friends.

The swing set, teeter totter and slide was also a draw for the little ones.

This little gal should be in gymnastics!  She is fearless and will work at things over and over until she gets it just right!

So fun to see all of these pictures. Makes me want to do it again. So thankful that we still have sweet little Jeffrey Jack. These memories make us so happy.
