On April 29, Charlie's kindergarten put on a Weather program at their school. It was delightful! Each of the children taught us something about the weather, and they sang all kinds of fun songs about different kinds of weather.
When the sun comes out , "Zippety Doo-Dah!"
Getting ready for those "Raindrops fallin' on my head."
"Why are there so many songs about rainbows
And what's on the other side?
Rainbows are visions, but only illusions
And rainbows have nothing to hide.
So we've been told and some choose to believe it
I know they're wrong wait and see.
Someday we'll find it, the rainbow connection
The lovers, the dreamers, and me."
Written by Paul Williams, sang by Kermit the Frog and the Canyon Kindergarteners.
The children perform an interpretive dance about the weather.
I am very impressed with the music program at this school. They only receive partial funding for the program, and the rest is made up by individual donations, but the instructors do a terrific job. Kudos to the faculty and staff~
