Josua's First Birthday

“The essence of our effort to see that every child has a chance must be to assure each an equal opportunity, not to become equal, but to become different -- to realize whatever unique potential of body, mind and spirit he or she possesses.~ John Fischer

Joshua turned one and we had such a lovely day together with Ethan and  Megan and Megan's family up in Cache Valley.  We always have to make a stop at Gossner's Cheese Factory - great ice cream, cheese curds, milk products and cheese of all kinds.

We had a lovely picnic in the park and the children enjoyed playing on all the toys and we enjoyed watching the children . . .

Joshua had lots of helpers ~ the cousins were so cute playing together ~ everybody wanted to help him walk around the park.
Loved this photo of Hunter ~ in the pink!

Logan has a small zoo and it was just right for the little ones, and the old ones and the in between ones too.

Grateful for Spring Breaks Coming Our Way

Arianne, James and Nathanial came up for their Spring Break and it was another delight filled week.  James' birthday was Tuesday, but they got here a little too late to celebrate . . . so we lit the candles and sang Happy Birthday on Wednesday.  You will notice that Nathanial got to the cake just before we did!
We enjoyed going to the park ~ the weather has been perfect!

He is Risen!

"It is through the grace of the Lord Jesus, made possible by his atoning sacrifice, that mankind will be raised in immortality, every person receiving his body from the grave in a condition of everlasting life. It is likewise through the grace of the Lord that individuals, through faith in the atonement of Jesus Christ and repentance of their sins, receive strength and assistance to do good works that they otherwise would not be able to maintain if left to their own means. This grace is an enabling power that allows men and women to lay hold on eternal life and exaltation after they have expended their own best efforts." David A Bednar, Ensign, April 2012

Will made these delightful Easter cupcakes ~
I love this time of year, Springtime, when the earth bears witness of rebirth and renewal and all things are new and fresh and welcome.  I enjoy the celebration of Easter.  I am so grateful for a loving Savior who has loved us enough to endure unimaginable pain and suffering in order to enable us to be able to "begin again," to start over when we have made a mistake.  I am so grateful for his great love, his mercy and his grace.  I Know that My Redeemer Lives and that He loves us unconditionally.
